Questions
What counts toward my hours?
The length of each file you clean, counted once when cleaning starts. Downloading the result again, in another format or with other settings, doesn't count again. A clean that fails or that you cancel gives its time back, within a small limit each billing period.
Do unused hours roll over?
No. Your allowance resets at the start of each billing period, and unused time doesn't carry over. Your account shows how much is left and when it resets.
What happens when I run out?
The tool tells you before it starts a file that doesn't fit. Upgrade to a bigger plan and the new allowance applies straight away, or wait for your allowance to reset.
What do I get with Free forever?
Sign in with a free account and clean 30 minutes of audio or video a month, with no daily file limit. The library is part of the paid plans.
How does transcription work?
On a paid plan you can turn the speech in any file in your library into text: plain text, text with timestamps, or captions (.srt, .vtt) for YouTube. Each plan includes transcription hours each month, counted separately from cleaning. 30 languages are supported, or the language can be detected automatically. To transcribe, the file's audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our speech AI, processed and deleted straight away; we don't keep the audio or the transcript.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time from your profile. Upgrades start at once; a move to a smaller plan starts when your current billing period ends. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and nothing renews after that.
Can I get a refund?
No. Payments are final and not refunded, except for a charge made in error or where the law requires it. You can cancel at any time: your plan stays active to the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. Try the free plan first to see how it works on your recordings.
How do payments work?
All payments are handled by Razorpay. You pay on Razorpay's secure payment page, and Razorpay charges your plan each month until you cancel and sends your receipts; Kleersonic never sees your card or bank details. Prices are in US dollars, or in your local currency where we offer it.

Files are cleaned on your own device and never uploaded. Only the files you choose to save to your library are uploaded, to your private storage.
